Info
On April 3, 2027, at Union Chapel in London, Spiritualized bring back Acoustic Mainlines for a rare, stripped-down take on their catalogue. The idea first surfaced around the Songs in A&E era, when Jason Pierce (J Spaceman) eased his way back onstage after serious illness with an intimate acoustic set that started as a small side appearance, then opened up into something bigger.
This anniversary run revisits that format: songs stretching from the Spacemen 3 days through key Spiritualized records, reshaped for a quieter room without losing the band’s hypnotic pull. Expect pieces built on repetition, drones, and long melodic lines, now carried by space, breath, and detail rather than volume. J Spaceman is joined by guitarist Tony Foster, with a string quartet and gospel singers adding weight and warmth, plus a few well-chosen covers to keep things loose and human.
