Info
On November 3, 2026, at the Espace Michel-Simon in Noisy-le-Grand, Erik Truffaz and Antonio Lizana come together for a concert centered on fusion and improvisation. Truffaz, a Franco-Swiss trumpeter, has built a jazz rooted in amplified cultures: clear trumpet lines, calm, expansive atmospheres, a groove that flirts with electronics, hip-hop, or more energetic rhythms. His playground is contemporary jazz in which one moves from a simple melody to broader textures without losing the thread. Opposite him, Antonio Lizana brings Andalusia along with him. Saxophonist and singer, he makes the cante and the palos of flamenco converse with jazz harmonies, alternating breath, singing, and spoken interludes to tell the music as much as to play it. Together, they open a common space between pulse, lyricism, and tradition, where each theme can deviate, transform, or take off in another direction.
