Info
Django Django head to Berlin on 23 February 2027 to perform at Hole44 and bring their distinctive London sound to the stage: art rock, indie and electronica, equally suited to nodding along as to dancing. Since they formed at the Edinburgh College of Art in the late 2000s, the quartet has worked with tightly woven vocal harmonies, repetitive grooves, and dry to snarling guitars that are repeatedly sparked by electronic textures.
In a live setting, experimental rock meets clear melodies and a psychedelic edge, without it feeling overthought. The set may include songs from their self-titled debut of 2012 as well as material from Born Under Saturn, Marble Skies or the later Glowing in the Dark, on which Charlotte Gainsbourg also appears. And with Off Planet (2023), conceived as a multi-part project, they push the focus even more toward groove and collaboration. In Berlin, that means a concert that swings between band-driven energy and electronic pulse.
