Info
On November 21, 2026, at Malmö Arena in Malmö, Timbuktu brings his long-running Swedish rap story back to the stage. Born Jason Diakité, he’s been a key voice since the ’90s, mixing hip-hop with reggae and dancehall instincts, and writing in Swedish with a flow that can switch between spoken phrasing, melodic hooks, and sharper punchlines.
This show is a chance to hear how his sound has evolved across albums like T2: Kontrakultur, Alla vill till himmelen men ingen vill dö, Sagolandet, and more recent chapters such as Du gamla, Du nya and Har berg har vatten. Expect elastic rhythms, choruses that stick without turning glossy, and lyrics that move from social snapshots to intimate lines and a touch of satire. A Timbuktu concert is built for the crowd: direct, lively, and rooted in that Scandinavian live tradition where rap is as much about presence as it is about words.
