Info
Fionn Regan returns to Paris on 26 March 2027, at the Trois Baudets, with this acoustic folk that is at once intimate and open, powered by a highly visual writing and a voice that leaves room for silences. An Irish songwriter nominated for the Mercury Prize, he has been tracing since The End of History a path where the guitar and the sense of imagery carry everything, even if it means the scenery evolves across the records.
On stage, we find his stripped-down ballads as well as his more aerial tracks, those that broadened his palette toward textures almost ambient, in the vein of The Meetings of the Waters. Between tracks that have become touchstones, nods to his collaborations and new songs, this Parisian sojourn accompanies the release of his new album Berlin Berlin: an opportunity to see him tighten the emotion to its closest, without any unnecessary effects, just the song and what it tells.
