Info
Rod Stewart brings his long-running songbook to Co-op Live in Manchester on May 6, 2027. Expect that unmistakable raspy voice and a set that moves easily between rock and soulful ballads, shaped by decades of stage time. From the early solo years that blended folk, R&B and swagger to the smoother pop-leaning era that followed his move to the US, Stewart’s concerts tend to play like a brisk tour through different chapters of the same story: big choruses, classic grooves, and covers that he makes sound like his own. It’s the kind of night built for singing along, with arrangements that keep things tight but leave room for that lived-in delivery.
Howard Jones is also on the bill. Known for his time fronting Killswitch Engage and for a vocal style that jumps between clean melodies, screams and growls, he brings a heavier edge rooted in modern metalcore. Whether leaning into punchy riffs or more melodic hooks, his presence adds a sharp contrast to the headliner’s classics, turning the evening into a wider snapshot of what “live” can mean across generations and genres.
