On May 30, 2027, Paul Daraîche checks into the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal with 'Un dernier je t’aime, un ultime merci', an engagement conceived as a journey through more than six decades of Québécois country. On stage, he returns to the formula that has long been his strength: proximity, a keen sense of storytelling, and these French-language songs that speak of family, the road, and memories.
Accompanied by his musicians, he revisits the titles that have marked several generations, from À ma mère to Je pars à l’autre bout du monde, and including T’envoler, and also leaves room for a more collective impulse than the one he is known for, between a spirit of transmission and the warmth of the cabaret. A simple and direct concert, where the voice, the melodies and the stories take centre stage.
