On February 6, 2028, Salebarbes lands at Théâtre Manuvie in Brossard with its collective, road-tested take on Acadian folk and Cajun energy. Built around several Acadian singer-songwriters from New Brunswick and the Magdalen Islands, the band shares vocals and leans into tight group harmonies, dance-ready rhythms, and that mix of tradition and modern punch where country and rock sneak into the groove.
On stage, their Francophone repertoire moves between originals and reworked traditional pieces, with a strong taste for Acadian vernacular and simple, direct song structures that keep things moving. If you’ve followed their releases from the live set Live au Pas Perdus (2019) through Gin à l’eau salée (2021) and À boire deboutte (2023), this night is where that music really clicks: played for the room, for the floor, and for singing along.
