On April 11, 2027, Jack Kays arrives at La Maroquinerie with his live show ‘Jack Kays and His Band’. Originally from Cincinnati, he has established himself with a distinctive way of blending indie rock, hip-hop, pop-punk and emo: verses delivered in a rap cadence, melodic choruses, nerve-wracking guitars, and a voice raw and exposed. On stage, everything starts from his introspective writing, often traversed by mental health, isolation, or addictions, but carried by a punk energy and catchy hooks. A multi-instrumentalist, moving from the SoundCloud sphere to a louder, more rock and alternative sound, he has released a string of records in recent years (Mixed Emotions, voice memos, Caffeine, then Deadbeat! - Disc 1 and Disc 2) and has honed his craft in festivals as well as on international tours. In Paris, the idea is clear: a direct, intimate, and taut concert, built to sing along as much as to let go.
