Southern California heirs with nerve-fueled guitars, Movements arrives in Paris on February 23, 2027 at the Trabendo with its blend of post-hardcore, emo revival and alternative rock. Since 2015, the four-piece led by Patrick Miranda has broadened its horizons—from rougher beginnings to more expansive songwriting—while maintaining tension and introspection. On stage, you can see what makes them strong: airy guitars, rhythms that know how to slow down to surge again, and vocals that move from clean lines to phrasing close to spoken word. Their latest chapter, Happier Now, produced with Will Yip, pushes this contrast between melodic immediacy and a darker undercurrent. The songs navigate between catchy hooks and post-hardcore nervous energy, with lyrics addressing anxiety, depression, emotional bonds and inner fatigue, without flinching. A concert conceived as a crossing, between catharsis and precision.
