Hudson Freeman returns to Paris on February 14, 2027, this time at Les Étoiles, with his homemade folk lo-fi, alternating between whispered confidences and gritty, grainy guitars. Based in Brooklyn, he delivers on stage a songwriting marked by the indie of yesterday and today, somewhere between intimate folk, slowcore, and muted indie rock.
In the vein of his 2025 album 'is a folk artist,' Freeman unfolds songs that face faith and doubt head-on, speaking of belonging, anxiety, and those friendships that drift by without warning. There is also the more direct energy of 'If You Know Me,' a track with an immediate riff that broadened his audience, blending bedroom pop with post-emo melancholy. A concert conceived as a personal, up-close journey, with no frills.
