Info
Republica land at Thekla in Bristol on November 29, 2026 for a set built on that classic ’90s collision of alt-rock bite and club-ready electronics. Expect tight guitars, nervous programmed rhythms and Saffron’s pop-forward vocal cutting through the noise, the kind of push-and-pull that made tracks like “Out of This World” and “Bloke” hit with real urgency.
The show draws a line through the band’s key chapters: the self-titled 1996 album and 1998’s Speed Ballads, where rock energy and synth-pop sheen keep sparring, plus nods to their big beat-era proximity and dancefloor instincts. After reforming and returning to live activity, Republica have kept the project alive around Saffron, with more recent releases like “New York” (2023) and “Hallelujah” (2024) adding fresh angles to the same adrenaline-charged blueprint.
