Info
On November 20, 2026, Boko Yout lands at The Grand Social in Dublin with its hybrid thing they call Afro‑Grunge. Led by singer-songwriter Paul Adamah, the project sits right where punk-funk urgency meets alt-rock guitars, with rhythms that keep mutating and vocals that take up all the space.
Built on repetition, sudden dynamic shifts and a tense, physical groove, Boko Yout’s songs dig into identity, ego, and what artistic freedom really means, pulling from Afro-diasporic references as much as from rock structures, funk pulse and electronic pressure. With the debut album GUSTO framed as a conceptual session with a fictional therapist, Dr. Gusto, the live show leans into performance: gesture, movement and intensity as part of the music, not just around it. Expect something direct, wired, and hard to pin down.
