Info
Happy Mondays land in Blackpool on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Winter Gardens, bringing that Madchester cocktail where indie guitars collide with funk, house and rave-ready grooves. Born in Salford at the turn of the 80s, the band shaped its sound from post-punk instincts into something looser and more dancefloor-minded, built around Shaun Ryder’s wiry delivery, the group’s elastic rhythm section, and the onstage spark that turned their shows into a moving party.
This date is a chance to hear the different sides of their run: the scrappy early Factory era, the sharper punch of Bummed, then the full switch into dance-rock territory on the years that followed, with vocals that open the songs up without sanding down the rough edges. Expect a set that leans on momentum, grooves and attitude, made for bodies as much as for choruses, with support from Inspiral Carpets.
