SiM (Silence iz Mine), a four-piece from Shonan formed in 2004, arrives at l’Elysée Montmartre in Paris on February 13, 2027. Fronted by singer MAH with SHOW-HATE on guitar, SIN on bass and GODRi on drums, the band has forged a hybrid sound where metalcore and nu metal intersect with ska punk, reggae/dub accents and touches of hip‑hop. From their early releases Silence iz Mine and Seeds of Hope to Playdead, their songwriting alternates heavy riffs, syncopated rhythms and melodic choruses.
On stage, SiM toggles between compact mosh sections, reggae breaks that let off steam, and front‑on charges calibrated to be taken up in chorus. The set draws widely from their discography, from the tracks that pushed them beyond the Japanese scene—The Rumbling and Under the Tree, both associated with the anime Attack on Titan—to their more recent material. Comfortable in Japan’s large venues as well as on international bills—think Ozzfest meets Knotfest—they arrive at l’Elysée Montmartre with a taut, dense show designed to foster pit cohesion.
