Back in their hometown orbit, Cardiff’s five-piece Panic Shack land at Clwb Ifor Bach on October 31, 2026 for a set built for the front row. Formed in 2018, they’ve carved a lean, jumpy lane between punk rock, post-punk and indie punk: dry-edged guitars, a rhythm section that stays tight and pushy, and choruses made to be shouted back.
What really drives Panic Shack is that clipped, spoken-sung delivery and lyrics pulled from everyday life, with humour, irritation and sharp takes on gender dynamics. They earned their reputation on the live circuit first, where timing and collective energy do the heavy lifting, then widened their UK reach through a run of singles and EPs. After sharing bills with Bob Vylan and Soft Play and hitting festivals from Glastonbury to SXSW, this Cardiff date feels like a chance to catch the band at full pace, close-up and unfiltered.
