Dub Pistols land in London on December 23, 2026 at Jazz Cafe for a live set built for sweat and bounce. Born in the mid-90s around Barry Ashworth and a shifting cast, the London collective has spent decades stitching together dub weight, reggae swing, punk bite, hip-hop attitude, jungle pressure and big beat punch. On stage, that mix turns into breakbeats, basslines and shout-along hooks that feel as much like a band as a soundsystem, with tracks that can flip from raw low-end to skanking grooves without warning.
Over the years, they’ve pushed their sound from early riot-ready singles into more vocal, reggae- and ska-leaning cuts, while keeping that club-first energy intact. Known for working fast and wide with collaborators across scenes, Dub Pistols come through with the kind of set that treats genre like fuel: loud, tight, and always moving.
