Info
On January 30, 2027, Garou stops at the Théâtre Municipal de Denain for a solo show, crafted to put his voice at the forefront. Behind the stage name lies Pierre Garand: a Sherbrooke-born Quebecer propelled into the spotlight by the role of Quasimodo in Notre-Dame de Paris, before carving out his solo path.
Since Seul (2000) and its hits that defined a generation, Garou has moved between French chanson, pop, soul and blues. He has his own distinctive way of inhabiting a lyric, with a husky timbre and a direct, often emotionally raw interpretation, sometimes more rock. On stage, he balances intensity with a sense of proximity, alternating between his greatest hits and more intimate, quieter moments. An evening conceived as a meeting, without artifice, where the voice and stage presence remain the essence.
