On December 10, 2027, Ycare will be on stage at the Théâtre Royal in Mons with a live set that showcases his French pop and modern chanson up close. Under the name Assane Attyé, he has spent years building songs that revolve around relationships, doubts, and the small details of daily life, carried by bright melodies and a guitar that often leaves room for the lyrics. His path runs from a breakthrough on Nouvelle Star to his own discography in which he frequently changes color: from the acoustic warmth of Au bord du monde to a darker, more electric edge on Lumière noire, and later pop rock and ballads on La Somme de tout ça. In Mons you can expect a selection that brings together these different phases, with the more layered, richly produced work of Des millions d’années as a recent through-line. Live, Ycare opts for a direct approach to playing: few detours, a lot of storytelling, and songs that linger because they are simple and impactful.
