Info

Dea Matrona play Islington Assembly Hall, London, on 23 November 2026. Formed in Belfast in 2018 by Orlaith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn, later joined by Mamie McGinn, the trio has built its path independently. First noticed through street performances shared from their hometown, they grew a following song by song before releasing their debut album For Your Sins in 2024, a milestone that gathered and clarified their earlier work.

On stage, their compass is the writing and the chemistry of a tight three-piece, keeping a clear line between studio and live. Guitars lead the way, the rhythm section stays close and insistent, and the vocals lock into sharp harmonies that carry the hooks without excess. Since the album, Dea Matrona have toured across the UK, Ireland and Europe and kept a regular flow of releases and live sessions that feed directly into the set. In London, they arrive with that blend of concise riffs, steady grooves and a no-frills presence, the kind that lets the songs sit at the center of the show.
