TTSSFU
Con il nome TTSSFU, Tasmin Nicole Stephens sviluppa dal nord-ovest dell’Inghilterra un progetto solista al crocevia tra shoegaze, dream pop e indie rock con venature lo-fi e slacker. Nata nel 2003 e originaria di Wigan, nella Grande Manchester, poi trasferitasi a Manchester, TTSSFU suonò inizialmente la chitarra nella band post-punk Duvet prima di far evolvere la sua scrittura verso brani più ovattati, melodici e introspettivi. Dopo diversi singoli pubblicati a partire dal 2021, TTSSFU ha pubblicato l’EP The Body nel 2022 e il mini-album Me, Jed and Andy nel 2024 per Fear of Missing Out Records — un disco in cui trame di chitarra diffuse, voci eteree e una sottile tensione emotiva occupano il centro. Nello stesso anno ha aperto per i Mannequin Pussy in alcune date del tour e ha poi firmato con Partisan Records, con cui ha pubblicato il singolo Studio 54 nel 2024. Nel 2025 TTSSFU ha pubblicato il mini-album Blown, proseguendo un percorso che fonde grunge smussato, pop onirico e rock alternativo insieme diretto e vaporoso.
