Getdown Services bring their hybrid of post-punk, indie rock and dance-floor pulse to Tramshed Cardiff on 18 November 2026. Active since the early 2020s, this British project builds tracks from tight bass loops, dry drum-machine patterns and spare guitar or synth lines, locking into grooves that stay direct and physical without overloading the mix. The vocals lean on a spoken-sung delivery, close to spoken word, turning everyday details, social codes and urban habits into wry, observational lyrics.

On stage, the band plays with repetition, sudden breaks and simple structures that switch gears quickly, working tension and release with a clean, unfussy touch. Their live set sits somewhere between a club and a gig, crossing currents from the new post-punk wave to electronic pop and alternative dance.
