Getdown Services return to Cardiff with a headline show at Tramshed, Cardiff on 19 November 2026. Emblematic of the current UK independent scene, the project fuses post-punk tension, indie rock contours and a dance-minded pulse. Their tracks revolve around repetitive basslines, dry drum machines and lean guitars or synths that drive a groove that stays minimal yet direct. The vocals lean toward spoken-sung delivery, close to spoken word, carrying lyrics that pick apart everyday rituals, social codes and small urban tics with a cool, ironic distance.

On stage, Getdown Services play with repetition and sudden shifts in dynamics, building simple, functional structures that work as well in a club context as in a live room. The set tends to lock into tight patterns, then break them open, keeping bodies moving without losing the bite of their text.
