Gurriers

Back in Dublin, Gurriers take over 3Olympia Theatre on 1 November 2026 with a set that sharpens their tense, post-punk core. Formed in the early 2020s, the five-piece pushes abrasive guitar lines against tight, driving rhythms, while the vocal delivery flips between urgency and cool detachment. Their songs look straight at urban pressure and political contradiction, tracing everyday unease, casual violence and a creeping sense of decline through concise, clipped writing.

A run of singles carried the band from local rooms to the wider Irish and UK circuit, staking out a place between art-punk edges and noise rock density without leaning on retro tricks. In 2024, their debut album, Come and See, widened the frame without lightening the impact, testing rougher textures, stricter pulses and a few experimental side steps that keep the tension alive.

On stage, Gurriers work repetition and sudden breaks, letting riffs grind before snapping into the next turn. Stark hooks surface through the din, drum patterns bore forward, and the voice rides the friction rather than smoothing it out. It’s a direct, unvarnished take on the present, delivered at home in a room built for volume.
