Gurriers

On 22 October 2026 at Electric Bristol, Dublin five-piece Gurriers bring a taut strain of post-punk that leans into art-punk edges and noise-rock abrasion. Formed in the early 2020s, they write lean, wired songs driven by serrated guitars, tight rhythm patterns and a vocal delivery that flips between front-foot urgency and cool detachment. Their lyrics track urban tensions and social fractures — numbed violence, class slippage, political contradictions — with concise, unsentimental lines.

After a run of singles that carried them across the Irish and UK underground, the band released its debut album, Come and See, in 2024. The record deepened their approach without softening it, folding in more angular textures, precise tempos and sudden ruptures. Live, that language turns physical: riffs collide and lock, drums clamp down, feedback cuts through, and the songs pivot quickly from chant-like mantras to bursts that feel almost mechanical.
