Fakear « A nice place to be »

On October 14, 2026, Fakear takes over La Rayonne in Villeurbanne for a live show conceived as an electronic journey. A producer at the crossroads of downtempo, house and a melodic sensibility rooted in trip-hop, he revisits his touchstones — from “La Lune Rousse” to “Animal” — and above all performs the tracks from his new album a nice place to be. Between ethereal pads, crisp percussion and cinematic motifs, his pieces flow into one another and evolve, with live rearrangements taking center stage.

Influenced by artists such as Four Tet, Bonobo, Fred Again and Camoufly, Fakear sharpens a sound that is at once luminous and incisive, playing the balance between contemplation and rhythmic tension. His open-world mixtape, inspired by the world of video games, adds a freer, more organic dimension, where transitions glide from introspection to bigger club climaxes. On stage he alternates machines, pads and sampled textures for an evolving set — from ambient breath to club pulses — tailored to the room and conceived for the present moment.
