French 79, the Marseille-born Simon Henner, arrives on 19 March 2027 at FIDUCIAL Astéria in Décines-Charpieu. Solo at the controls, he unfolds a melodic electronic palette that blends synth-pop, slow house, motorik pulses and cinematic atmospheres, with tracks that are often instrumental but conceived with a distinctly pop sensibility. His set draws on Olympic, Joshua and Teenagers, three albums that refined his taste for keyboard washes, gradual buildups and crisp rhythms.

Having come through the electro-rock trio Nasser and nourished by collaborations, Henner has built a balance between live performance culture and a keen sense of arrangement. On stage, French 79 slides his repertoire between concert format and club energy, relying on dynamics rather than flashiness.
