Green Lung bring their South London take on doom-leaning heavy rock, where classic British hard rock hooks meet swirling keys and a taste for English folk-horror imagery. Since Woodland Rites and through Black Harvest to This Heathen Land, the band has sharpened that balance between big choruses and darker atmospheres, with a stage energy that sits naturally between metal and heavy psych.
High On Fire, led by Matt Pike, deliver their trademark blend of stoner, sludge and doom pushed by thrash-level momentum. From the early impact of Surrounded by Thieves to the more recent run up to Cometh the Storm, it’s all about relentless, repetitive riffs, a massive guitar sound and that raw, rasped vocal charge.
Belgian trio Gnome round things out with stoner rock laced with prog twists, sudden dynamic shifts and a deliberately offbeat sense of humor—tight, loud, and always ready to switch gears mid-song.
