On 30 September 2026 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Journey brings the Final Frontier Tour – An Evening With, a full evening built around the band’s own catalogue.

Formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch, Journey first explored jazz-fusion and progressive terrains before shifting toward a more melodic rock approach at the end of the 70s. The arrival of singer Steve Perry and the album Infinity (1978) marked that turn, with keyboards stepping forward and refrains built for big rooms. The early 80s fixed their AOR and arena-rock profile with Escape (1981) and Frontiers (1983), mixing punchy tracks and power ballads. After Raised on Radio (1986), the group’s activity became more intermittent, punctuated by changes behind the mic and returns to the studio through the 90s and 2000s.

Since 2007, the core has revolved around guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain, with vocalist Arnel Pineda out front. Albums like Revelation (2008), Eclipse (2011) and Freedom (2022) extend that melodic line. On stage, count on guitar lines, piano-led hooks and a set that moves between uptempo cuts and slower ballads, tracing the different chapters of their five-decade story.
