Yaelokre

On October 12, 2026, Yaelokre brings his narrative folk universe to Hole⁴⁴ in Berlin. Behind the project is Keath Ósk, a Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter and multimedia artist who weaves songs, illustrations and stage design into a cohesive world called Meadowlark. The music is built on simple melodies, a clear, present voice and sparse arrangements that sit between acoustic folk tradition, modern pop-folk, and touches of OPM (Original Pilipino Music). With the debut EP Hayfields (2024) and the widely shared track “Harpy Hare,” Yaelokre quickly found an audience, before Songs of Origin (2024) and Origins (2025) further illuminated the characters and perspectives of the Meadowlark narrative.

Live, Yaelokre favors a vivid, calm dramaturgy: costumes and masks bring the characters to life on stage, sometimes solo, sometimes with a band. In Berlin he presents a focused, narrative evening in which the stories are central and each piece feels like a chapter. Voice, guitar and subtle details carry the songs — intimate, pared-down and with a sense of atmosphere that softens the boundary between concert and storytelling.
