London Metalfest hits Camden on 12 September 2026 at The Underworld, rallying a lineup from the UK and Europe. At the core, Swedish doom pioneers Candlemass bring slow-burning riffs, melodic lines and dramatic vocals, the sound Leif Edling forged from Epicus Doomicus Metallicus to Sweet Evil Sun. Expect measured tempos, heavy grooves and an epic doom atmosphere. Switzerland’s Burning Witches deliver classic heavy metal with power metal speed: twin guitars, sharp hooks and Laura Guldemond on vocals, with Courtney Cox on guitar. Their songs dive into occult, fantasy and history, played straight and fast. From Rotterdam, Dool pushes toward dark, hypnotic rock, threading doom, prog and goth under Raven van Dorst’s lead; long-form tracks and layered dynamics make their set a deep dive. Around them, more bands from across the scene round out a one-day gathering in Camden, focused on heavy riffs, dark moods and the breadth of contemporary metal.
