Tigercub

Tigercub bring their dark, dynamic rock back home to Chalk, Brighton on 13 November 2026. Formed in 2011 around Jamie Stephen Hall, James Allix and Jimi Wheelwright, the trio have shaped a sound where alternative and indie instincts collide with grunge weight and a hint of sludge. After As Blue as Indigo and the more direct The Perfume of Decay, they return with a new album that tightens their balance of tension and melody. On stage, thick guitars, a grounded low end and sharp rhythmic shifts drive songs that move from taut grooves to more open, melodic passages. Fans of Muse, Royal Blood or Queens of the Stone Age will find familiar edges without losing Tigercub’s own grain: noise-tinged textures, sudden breaks and harmonies that roughen the surface. From early singles to recent cuts, the set traces their evolution while keeping the focus on impact and precision. A Brighton night built on riffs and contrast, played by a band that has honed its craft over a decade.
