Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey brings his synth-pop songbook to Indigo at The O2 in London on 19 September 2026. As the voice and songwriter behind Thompson Twins, Bailey is known for sharp hooks, drum machines and bright keys. On stage he leans into those textures while opening space for newer material. The set reconnects with the band’s classic catalogue and the cooler edges of new wave, delivered with a focused, direct energy.
Also on the bill, Blancmange. Formed in Harrow in 1979 by Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe, the project grew out of the early UK synth scene, mixing dry synth lines, danceable rhythms and occasional Eastern shades. Reactivated in the late 2000s, Blancmange is now steered solo by Arthur, with a more introspective, pared-back electronic pop. Live, it lands as crisp electronics and understated melodies with a steady pulse.
