The Proclaimers

The Proclaimers bring their sharp harmonies and straight-ahead songwriting to Brighton Dome in Brighton and Hove on 11 November 2026. Led by twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, the Scottish duo started as a stripped-back acoustic act before growing into a fuller band sound. Their music blends folk rock, roots and pop with a punk-leaning energy, all carried by close vocal lines and a distinctly Scottish accent that anchors their identity.

On stage, they shift between spare arrangements and firm, band-driven takes. The set reaches back to This Is the Story and Sunshine on Leith—home to Letter from America, I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Sunshine on Leith—and moves through later releases like Life with You, Angry Cyclist and Dentures Out. Personal stories rub shoulders with social and political themes, written in a plainspoken style built to travel from room to room.
