Gabrielle brings The Hits to King George’s Hall in Blackburn on 20 April 2027. The British singer-songwriter from Hackney revisits the tracks that shaped her blend of R&B, pop and soul. It starts with Dreams, the breakthrough that set her tone in 1993, then moves through the smooth mid-tempos of Find Your Way and her self-titled 1996 album, from Give Me a Little More Time to the duet If You Ever with East 17. The late-90s turn is there too with Rise, and the early-2000s moment with Out of Reach, recorded for Bridget Jones’s Diary, before sliding into Play to Win and Always for a more mature, spacious sound. Recent years aren’t skipped: Under My Skin, Do It Again and A Place in Your Heart bring the story up to date without breaking from her clear melodic line. On stage, Gabrielle plays it straight and focused: steady rhythms, unfussy arrangements and a warm, flexible voice that carries ballads and mid-tempo grooves with ease.
