Info
Lifehouse brings an unplugged set to Bush Hall in London on 12 July 2026, a close-up take on more than two decades of songwriting. Formed in Los Angeles around singer and songwriter Jason Wade, the band grew from post‑grunge roots into a lean, melodic pop‑rock sound, built on direct lyrics, clear guitar lines and choruses that stick. Through line-up changes, Wade has remained the anchor, joined over time by drummer Rick Woolstenhulme Jr., bassist Bryce Soderberg and guitarist Steve Stout.
This “Best of Acoustic” show revisits the catalogue from No Name Face onward, stripping back the arrangements to let the melodies and harmonies breathe. Songs gain new contours in this format: dynamics soften, hooks land differently, and the writing steps forward. Expect taut mid-tempo tracks alongside quieter ballads, with Hanging by a Moment reimagined in a more intimate frame.
After the Goodbye Kanan EP in 2021 and a pause announced the same year, Lifehouse returns to the stage with a set that puts the focus on craft and presence. In a room like Bush Hall, the balance between voice, guitar and rhythm section should find a natural space, turning familiar tracks into something a little more immediate.
