Sibeliustalon kesä: Ellinoora

On 15 July 2026, Ellinoora plays Sibeliustalo in Lahti. Singer-songwriter born in Oulu in 1994, she has shaped Finnish pop since the early 2010s with lyrics in Finnish and a clear focus on writing. After a first single in 2013, she gained wider attention with Ei hävittävää (AEIOUAO) in 2015. Her music balances narrative ballads and more contemporary, streamlined arrangements, keeping melody and text at the center.

A long-standing collaboration with Samuli Sirviö has defined much of her studio work, from Villi lapsi (2016) and Vaaleanpunainen vallankumous (2019) to Viimeinen romantikko (2021) and Melankolisten laulujen klubi (2025). On stage, she moves through these releases with a set that connects early singles and recent tracks, giving space to the voice and to the songwriting that anchors her catalog.

Beyond her own records, Ellinoora writes for other Finnish artists and appears on several collaborations, including with Gasellit, Juha Tapio, and the Finnish version of Ed Sheeran’s 2step in 2022. This show in Lahti draws on more than a decade of material and highlights the author-driven pop that has made her a steady presence in Finland’s mainstream.
