Info
On December 4, 2026, Vesala brings her sharp, text-driven pop to Sibeliustalo in Lahti. Known first for her years in PMMP, where she helped shape a pop-rock sound built on energy, sticky choruses, and darker edges, Paula Vesala’s solo work shifts that same writing instinct into a more modern frame. Expect songs where electronic arrangements and synthetic textures sit right next to big melodic hooks, with lyrics that zoom in on everyday details and let the mood change without warning.
With albums like Vesala (2016), Etsimässä rauhaa (2020) and Näkemiin, melankolia (2023), she’s carved out a space that’s as much about storytelling as it is about sound design. Her background in collaborations and composing for other formats (from stage work to screen) also feeds into a live approach that feels crafted and direct, built for a room like Sibeliustalo.
