Info
Brooklyn’s Geese bring the Getting Killed Again Tour to History, Toronto, on November 5, 2026. Formed out of the NYC high‑school scene, the quintet works a line where indie rock rubs against post‑punk angles, art‑rock detours and a psych undertow. Their first album, Projector (2021), set the tone with taut, knotty guitar lines, shifting rhythms and half‑sung, half‑spoken vocals moving through abrupt breaks and left‑turn structures. With 3D Country (2023), the band widened the palette, weaving in folk and americana touches and opening up the choruses without losing their wiry bite.
On stage, Geese push these songs further. Parts stretch, riffs fray and re‑form, and the rhythm section pivots fast, leaving space for improvised corners while keeping the clipped, direct drive that anchors their writing. The set slides between nervous grooves and broader, more open passages, with guitar textures front and center and vocals switching from bark to drawl as the dynamics swell and release. A night built on tension, release and the pleasure of a band testing its edges in real time.
