Thursday 25 June 2026 at the Cabaret Sauvage, the Summer Festival opens with an evening of music without borders led by Orange Blossom, with Nashwa as the opening act.
Orange Blossom
Outside conventional formats for more than thirty years, the Nantes-based band guided by the vision of Mexican composer Carlos Robles Arenas weaves a travelling electronica nourished by Turkish, Egyptian, Malian, Senegalese and Cuban traditions. On stage, vocals in Arabic, Persian and Portuguese mingle with electronic textures and organic rhythms, producing a set that moves between danceable pulses and more contemplative moments. The band arrives with their new album Spells From The Drunken Sirens, which fuels a live show conceived as a journey without borders.
Nashwa – opening act
Nashwa, literally “euphoria” in Arabic, brings together producer and percussionist Alix Pilot and singer Ghizlane Melih. The duo blends bass music with traditional Moroccan sounds and presents on stage a self-titled debut album where gnawa, aïta and dakka marrakchia meet electronica, dubstep and drum’n’bass. Between acoustic percussion, electronic textures and vocals, Nashwa creates a trance-like dynamic that links Maghreb heritage with club culture.
