Hunee is one of those DJs whose connection to the dancefloor is felt from the first minute. His sets are shared celebrations with the crowd, musical journeys that cross time, place and labels. There is a constant spirit of exploration in his approach to DJing: each set is built like a living organism, breathing, moving forward and transforming together with those who dance.

Raised in Bochum, a former industrial city in western Germany, in a family of South Korean origin, Hunee moved to Berlin as soon as he finished his studies. There he immersed himself in the world of record shops and the club scene, developing a musical identity defined by curiosity, risk and freedom.

His approach to music—crossing eras, styles and geographies—has brought his sets to many contexts. Whether in an intimate all-night session in a basement or closing a festival’s main stage, Hunee maintains a level of quality, emotion and narrative that turns each performance into a shared experience.

Now based again in Amsterdam, a city that has played an important role in his trajectory over the past decade, Hunee is part of the Rush Hour family and collaborates with the local music community, including platforms such as Dekmantel and Red Light Radio. Through his label and platform Lifetones, he continues to expand his artistic vision and his way of understanding club music.

His productions, released on labels like Rush Hour, W.T. and Future Times, reflect that diversity: off-kilter funk, soul, a house legacy and a sensibility that connects with dance culture.

Completing the night, Gaspar & Elena bring their chemistry in the booth and an eclectic approach, reinforcing a set designed to flow for hours and celebrate music as a common language.
