For more than a decade, Axel Boman has played a key role in the renewal of Scandinavian electronic music. A producer and DJ based in Stockholm, he has honed a sound where house and techno intersect with a distinctly melodic sensibility, sometimes veering toward disco, Balearic, or downtempo. His productions alternate the club pulse with more contemplative moments, always with those subtle off-kilter touches and floating lines that set him apart.
Co-founder of the label Studio Barnhus alongside Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist, Boman has also helped push one of Northern Europe’s most influential independent platforms. In the booth, he builds sets with narrative and well-measured mood shifts: an eclectic selection, intuition, and an elegance that is not rigid, capable of taking you from the direct to the strange without losing the thread. On November 7, 2026, he lands at Sala Villanos in Madrid for a set where detail matters as much as the groove.
