On July 31, 2026, at the Concert Music Festival in Poblado Sancti Petri, Chiclana de la Frontera, two perspectives of Latin urban music intersect: Manuel Turizo and Mau y Ricky.
Manuel Turizo, born in Montería in 2000, burst onto the scene with "Una Lady Como Tú" and has since honed a melodic reggaeton sound blended with Latin pop and urban ballads. Between ADN (2019), Dopamina (2021) and 2000 (2023), he has made room for pop textures and the bachata of “La Bachata” without leaving the urban pulse. His deep voice and mid-tempos underpin straightforward songs with clear hooks and a Caribbean accent, designed as much for the stage as for radio, with a repertoire that alternates between energy and romanticism.
Mau y Ricky, the Venezuelan duo formed by brothers Mauricio and Ricardo Montaner, arrive with a mix of melodic reggaeton, pop and touches of Latin trap. After starting out as songwriters for others, they consolidated their approach with the EP Arte (2017) and the albums Para Aventuras y Curiosidades (2019) and rifresh (2020). Their trademark: two-part harmonies, light urban rhythms and lyrics that focus on relationships and everyday life. Live, they play with dynamics and vocals, moving between pop ballads and Latin beats.
