Jacob Dinesen brings his folk rock and Americana songwriting to Traaden in Middelfart, Denmark on May 2, 2026. From the southern Jutland scene, he writes and sings in English about relationships, travel and everyday tensions. On stage, he moves between acoustic storytelling and more electric moods, where steady rock energy sits next to slow, reflective ballads.
His first long player, Count the Ways (2015), opened a run that continued with Brace Against the Storm (2016) and Found It (2018). Over these releases he shaped a sound that balances intimate folk, country undertones and tighter arrangements. Surrounded by the band that follows him on tour and in the studio, Dinesen builds sets that alternate narrative pieces, more direct numbers and calm passages, with guitars moving from delicate picking to fuller, electric textures.
