The Home Team

On 1 November 2026 The Home Team plays at Melkweg, Amsterdam. The Seattle band blends pop‑punk, easycore and modern pop into a tight, melody-driven sound, emphasizing vocal lines that stick and rhythms that push forward. Since the mid-2010s they grew from the local scene to North American club tours and support shows on the pop‑punk and post‑hardcore circuit, where their combination of energy and precise playing came into shape.

With debut album Better Off (2018) The Home Team established a foundation that clearly leaned on easycore. Follow-up Slow Bloom (2021) moved noticeably toward R&B, funk and pop, most evident in the guitar work and the phrasing of the vocals. First signed to Revival Recordings and later to Thriller Records, the band has continued to refine a mix in which immediate choruses, worked‑out details and syncopated grooves reinforce each other.

Live it comes across straight to the point: solid dynamics, playful rhythmic patterns and melodies that draw the room in.
