Eleine

Eleine, a Swedish metal band founded in 2014, is driven by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/growling vocalist Rikard Ekberg. Their signature sound blends symphonic-tinged dark metal with thrash, black and death influences. Both in the studio and on stage, the band plays with contrasts: razor-sharp riffs, heavy rhythms, orchestral layers and tension build-ups that still leave room for melody. Madeleine’s clean vocals answer Rikard’s growls in a role-playing dynamic that highlights the cinematic and theatrical aspects of their compositions without sacrificing impact.

Since 2015, Eleine has released four albums that have built a solid repertoire, alternating dark moods, atmospheric passages and more direct, frontal assaults. The band channels energy through shifts in dynamics, tight breaks and choruses supported by carefully crafted arrangements. Eleine will be at Le Molotov in Marseille on 23 October 2026 — a date that showcases this blend of power and symphonic ornamentation, led by a complementary central duo and an instrumental lineup forged for the stage.
