The Dark Side of the Moon

On 9 February 2027, The Dark Side of the Moon will perform at the Dôme in Marseille. Formed from musicians formerly of Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum, the European quartet brings together Melissa Bonny, Hans Platz, Jenny Diehl and Morten Løwe Sørensen. They play melodic metal at the crossroads of folk, symphonic and power, conceived to reinterpret themes from films, series and video games, alongside a few original compositions.

Led by Melissa Bonny’s voice, the band favors dense arrangements, crisp guitars and a driving rhythm section. After several singles, the album Metamorphosis (2023) set their framework: accessible song formats, songwriting nourished by the imagination of film scores and a particular attention to contrasts. Live, The Dark Side of the Moon turns these reinterpretations into full-fledged tracks, alternating soaring orchestral passages and punchy riffs, while keeping melody in the foreground. A set designed to bridge the folk metal and symphonic metal scenes, aimed as much at guitar fans as at those who enjoy film and game universes.
