On December 13, 2026, Wolf Parade land at History, 1663 Queen Street East, Toronto. Formed in Montreal in 2003, the trio forged a sound where angular guitars meet saturated synths, with a taut rhythm section and songs voiced in turn by Spencer Krug and Dan Boeckner. The set draws from across their catalogue: the urgent contours of Apologies to the Queen Mary, the labyrinthine structures of At Mount Zoomer, the brisk drive of Expo 86, then the more piano-and-synth framed writing of Cry Cry Cry and the patterned electronics of Thin Mind. Over time, Wolf Parade have leaned into contrast—bright keyboards against grit, riffs against repeating motifs—while keeping a direct, song-first core. Live, those contrasts open and close in real time, building tension and release without overstatement.
