The Beach Boys

On July 31, 2026, The Beach Boys bring their California sound to OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. Formed in Hawthorne in 1961, the band shaped a blend of surf rhythms, rock’n’roll energy and tight vocal harmonies rooted in doo-wop. Early singles like Surfin’ Safari and Surfin’ U.S.A. captured a youth culture of beaches and cars, before the studio work around Pet Sounds steered the music toward denser arrangements and more inward themes. The unfinished Smile project fed into Smiley Smile, and the 1970s added a reflective streak with albums such as Sunflower and Surf’s Up.

Across decades of touring and changing lineups, the catalogue has kept moving, including a return to the studio with That’s Why God Made the Radio in 2012. On stage, the group draws from every period: stacked harmonies, melodic bass lines, clean guitar textures and arrangements that range from brisk surf tunes to orchestral-tinged pop. A concert built around songs that made the band’s identity, revisiting the coast, the cars and the long lines of melody that continue to define their sound.
