Info

SUUNS, a Montreal trio founded in 2007, moves between experimental rock, minimalist electronics, krautrock and post-punk. Ben Shemie, Joseph Yarmush and Liam O’Neill have forged a tense, repetitive sonic grammar, atmospheric without frills. From Zeroes QC to Images du Futur, Hold/Still and Felt, and through their collaboration with Jerusalem In My Heart, the band advances in layers, refining textures and shifting points of reference.

In 2021, The Witness opened a more introspective, fluid vein. The Breaks, released in 2024, pushes that trajectory further: supple loops, breathing synths, pop structures taken apart and reassembled, a more direct melodic sensibility without sacrificing precision or their experimental edge.

On stage, SUUNS sculpts tension in waves, with motifs that obsess and then release, producing a sound that is dense yet spacious. As part of their tour, the band will stop at Point Éphémère in Paris on 20 May 2026 for a live show centered on this new period, between electronic pulses, guitars with a cold edge and metronomic drumming.
